New Year’s Resolutions: Be Resolute in Reflecting

New Year’s Resolutions = UGH.

Every January, the pressure mounts—create a list, set lofty goals, aspire beyond the stars, and finally do all the things you didn’t get to last year.

It can feel overwhelming and, frankly, not that fun. And then by this time next year, when you didn’t run that marathon or travel to that place or get that thing you wanted, we end up feeling disappointed, frustrated, and like a failure.

None of which is helpful.

So, what if we shifted the focus? Instead of obsessing over the “resolution,” what if we gave ourselves the gift of time to reflect?

➡️ Think about what you’ve accomplished this past year.
➡️ Think about the challenges you overcame.
➡️ Think about what you might have done differently—or handled better.

Reflection brings CLARITY.  It helps us see what truly matters, give us perspective on what needs more attention, and where we can grow.

So, here’s my challenge to you:

✅ Can you be RESOLUTE on REFLECTING on the past year?
✅ Can you use that awareness to prioritize what’s most important to you?

Because maybe the best resolution isn’t about doing more—it’s about understanding yourself better.  And when you do, the sky’s the limit.
